J'adore la version française de ce livre. Tellement drôle te bien écrit. J'étais très contente de voir sortir une édition en anglais et l'a acheté rapidement pour ma fille, qu'on élève en bilingue. Quel déception! Quelle mauvaise traduction! J'aurais pu faire mieux moi-même. Je trouve que toute la magie et humour du livre en FR et perdu dans la traduction. Dommage.
Ahh, we got this book about 18 years ago when my daughter (senior in college) was in preschool and they read it in class. The book we got then was much bigger than the one I just received. Oh well. We got this new copy to give to a little preschooler and we hope she loves it as much as we have. This is a terrific story and lots of fun. Would've given that fifth star if they hadn't have downsized the book to a smaller format, because poop books are better when they are big.
My kids LOVE this book! They laugh all the way through it. It kept their attention and my 4 yr old has the attention span of a coked up squirrel.It's educational...if you're interested in knowing what different farm animals poop looks like.
In general I can't stand children's stories where the protagonist goes off in search of something. It's so formulaic: they stop on each page and talk to a different character who never shows up again, and there's never any character development except that they find the thing they were looking for.However, this one is just too funny. I mean, it's a big poop joke, and poop is funny no matter how old you are. My favorite is to give this book to a grandparent to read to my son at bed time and laugh while they make new fart sound on every page. It's good fun!
This is a very funny book about a nearsighted little mole that accidentally gets pooped on and wants to know who did it! A great read for kids of all ages. My whole family loves it, as do the folks I just got it for, and they recommended it to their friends.
This book is fantastic, funny, and children love it. I am giving it four stars because they have 'dumbed' down the story for the U.S. Version. The original U.K. Version is much better, and I am fairly certain Americans who buy the book could have dealt with the original title and story just fine.
